1. Optimum support in the use of the unit is provided by its easy handling.

If the TPM value is exceeded in a measurement, this fact is reported by an audible as well as an optical signal. An LED traffic light function shows the TPM value in green, yellow or red, signalizing the status of the oil as optimal or critical. Even unpracticed staff obtain clear working instructions and identify when the cooking oil needs to be changed.

Our tip: Place only the marked sections of the unit into the oil. This way you not only avoid damage to the material of the tester, but also contamination of the oil with plastics.

2. Robust and hygienic – the unit can withstand anything in a kitchen.

Thanks to the TopSafe protective cover, the measuring instrument is safe from dirt and impact. The TopSafe can also be cleaned in a dishwasher, and thus fulfils the HACCP hygiene regulations. The sensor is embedded breakproof in metal, and insensitive to damage of all kinds thanks to its special protective coating.

Our tip: Do not touch the hot sensor. Danger of burning! Clean it under running water using a mild detergent, and dry it with a soft paper towel.

3. Fulfil your measurement obligation directly and without preparation – during continuing operation.

Testo's capacitive oil sensor does not need to first cool down after being used in hot oil. This allows you to check several deep-fryers one after the other, quickly and easily. You also do not need any preparation for the measurement. Switch on the instrument, hold into hot oil, press button – done. The TPM value of the oil is displayed in a few seconds.

Our tip: Remove the fried goods before the measurement and wait until there are no more bubbles rising. Hold the sensor into the fryer and move it slightly in the oil. You obtain the measurement result after 20 seconds.
